The LA Roadster show is one of the oldest hotrod/custom/swap meets in the world. It's always held at the Pomona Fairplex, which is right on I-10 and super easy to get to. Run every Father's Day weekend, it attracts cars and vendors from all over the country. If you want it, it is there.
Woody Coupe

A Canadian hotrodder showed an outstanding amount of creativity with this cute little '26 T. Very impressive!

Woody Coupe Two

Note that the rear deck folds down stationwagon-style.

The quintessential Model T track roadster, as would have been running the circle tracks in the early 50's

How sleek can a car be? And chopping something like a '40 Merc is like trying to make an egg smaller by cutting it. Very, very complex and this one is painted black-black. Lots of confidence there and not a wave anywhere in the body.

Everyone has a toy of somekind they want to show off.

Part of the parking lot show: a chopped, sectioned 39 Merc that started life as a four door sedan and now has a metal removeable roof.

Look closely: what looks like a deuce roadster with a track nose is powered by a Honda 1000 engine and scaled accordingly. I'd guess it about 60% scale.
